Terhi Romo lives in Tampere and she was born 1990 in Mikkeli, Finland. She graduated as producer from Degree Programme in Film and Television in Tampere University of Applied Sciences in 2015. She also has a bachelor degree in Theatre and Drama studies from the University of Tampere. At the moment she studies journalism in University of Tampere.
Romo is a versatile producer and writer, and she has written everything from news to commercial texts. At the moment she works as freelance journalist and publicist in a theatre called Uusi Iloinen Teatteri. The documentary film Iron Grandpa (Teräsvaari, 2015), which is screened at the DocPoint festival, is her first feature documentary as director and screenwriter.
